Baseado no segundo livro da aventura de Harry Potter And The Chamber Of Secrets (traduzido no Brasil como Harry Potter e a Câmara Secreta) transporta para os videogames todo o clima do sucesso de J.K. Howling.

Harry Potter agora é segundo-anista da escola de bruxaria de Hogwarts. O jogador controla Harry pelos corredores da escola e visita locais conhecidos, como a loja Diagon Alley. O bruxinho aprendiz vai passar por várias situações, como pilotar um carro voador ou tentar chegar a tempo para a aula.

Alguns dos acontecimentos do segundo livro foram repassados no jogo, incluindo Whomping Willow, o Dueling Club e a batalha em Chamber of Secrets. Harry está em companhia de Hermione, Ron, Hagrid e Hedwing.

Como aluno da segunda série, o bruxo poderá usar magias mais avançadas, mas tome cuidado: se a magia não for executada com perfeição, os efeitos podem ser trágicos. Há vários mini-jogos nas fases e elas podem ser revisitadas quantas vezes quiser. Umas das brincadeiras são 'desgnomizar' jardins e duelar no Dueling Club.

Like X7, Mega Man X8's setup is a mostly throwaway tale of good robots versus bad robots that dabbles in a lot of nonsensical anime-style ramblings about things that are of little importance to the actual game. In actuality, all you really need to care about is the process of shooting up a bunch of robot bosses, taking their weapons, and moving on to the next round, much like in the olden days of Mega Man. Of course, it isn't all quite so simple, as the additional characters introduced into the X series previously, Zero and Axl, are playable once again. You'll begin each stage by picking two of the three characters, each of whom has unique strengths and weaknesses. Mega Man (or X, as he's referred to in this series) has his usual abilities, including his charge blast and the ability to acquire special weapons from fallen foes. Axl can shoot in multiple directions and angles, and can hover in midair. And Zero is good in close combat, and can double-jump. Of course, since nearly all the enemies you'll be up against are best fought from long range, X and Axl are usually your best bets.

RESUMO:

The difference in hardware between the PlayStation 2 and the PlayStation 3 means that the FIFA games for each console are now handled by completely different teams, each with its own aims. The PS3 team is desperate to show off the horsepower of the console, whereas the PS2 team is so comfortable with the hardware that it's their job to try out new ideas. Although the PS2 version of FIFA 08 doesn't play that much differently than last year's game, the developers have introduced a number of cool new features, new control touches, and all the expected roster updates. If you're a football fan that prefers fast-paced arcade gameplay, you can't go far wrong with FIFA 08.
